I think thay come out like once a week now that theres a petreon so the comic can be worked on more often. Unless your getting paid, web comics are ost often run at a loss, hard to make a living and keep a comic going nearly fast enough.
You can see the progress on the next page yourself on Valsalia’s stream at https://picarto.tv/ValSalia.
Valsalia streams for a few hours in the afternoon on most days. That is, he streams some time between 1300 and 1800 CST(UTC-6).
Furthermore, if you get a Picarto account, you will be notified via email every time he’s streaming.
The latest page has been in development for about two days now, storyboarding is done, sketching seems to be too. Lines are beginning to appear and with any luck it won’t be long until coloring and shading starts too.
My best guess is that the next page will be published this weekend.
I really hopeso myself. Its the one thing I hate about speries and comics that are ongoing, your allways left hanging, waiting for the next bit. Thank goodness I now live with one of my fav authors, I can litteraly beg for a copy of the book before she even hands it off to the publisher for a prelim. *chuckles* Not that I do, but then Misty is a very quick writer.
Wow, how informative you are! Thank you so much for that. ^w^ I’m very pleased to just see so much community, love, and earnest interest built up around this comic. Thank you for easing my anxiety for getting another page of this, too.
Large bronze axe used for beheadings and simular sorts of things. Partly why the blade is so long, and the decrative bits help make the blade heavyer so its easyer to remove a head.
That was quite disappointing, you never cut their heads off during a debate. It is so much better to listen to them trying to swing you to their misinformed point of view while up to their neck in an ant hill. I mean what is the point of showing how displeased you are at an underling if it does not provide entertainment and important life lessons to the others.
I imagine you were thinking of commenters; but FA itself is much the same (as is IB – I should know!). Fan websites tend to be managed in an autocratic or at best oligarchic manner; it is relatively easy – indeed, the default – for one person to control all the levers of power, at least if they are technically-minded.
His government model is good for one with feudal roots but republic function. A happy population is a supportive population. A supportive population is a productive population that is also willing to fight. A productive population grows the power and influence of its leadership figures. Powerful leaders can justify more ambitious actions as “good for the realm”, thereby further cementing their position at the helm. This is how empires are born.
Well being of the general populace might be unimportant if you are running a plantation or mining economy. But for a trade city keeping citizens wealthy and paying taxes is the most important thing.
All things can be evil when taken to extremes. It could be argued that there were less bloody means to accomplish the goal of avoiding a recurrence – such as demotion to the status of a commoner. Of course, he might also not wish to leave anyone alive who bore a grudge against him.
Viracroix quite pointedly illustrated the flaw to Omarhan’s argument. The problem with arguing that some people are expendable and irrelevant is that, if so, there’s nothing preventing the one arguing the point to be counted among those very people he’s dismissing. People like Omarhan generally tend to overlook this counterpoint because they’re operating under the mistaken assumption that they personally aren’t one of those expendable and irrelevant people.
Hey, um, Val? When does the next, um, page come out? I really need to know…
You’re sooooo amazing…..

What sort of weapon is that?
An ornamental axe.

Busterds!! Fewls!!
Anhund mey!!
A good reminder that, though Viracroix may be nice, he still exists within the structures of a quasi-medieval justice system, with all that entails.
Yup, yup. With all that entRails…
Amazing how many on FA do not seem to realize that.

I like this line of logic and wish I had somewhere else to use it and quote it….
Well being of the general populace might be unimportant if you are running a plantation or mining economy. But for a trade city keeping citizens wealthy and paying taxes is the most important thing.
Haha, he’s like Lord Vetinari from the Discworld books, but more cheerful and smiley all the time! … And thus even more terrifying!
So he’s a Populace President. Didn’t see that coming. I figured he would end up being some kind of evil dude.

This is an excellent point and good summary of the subtly Omarhan missed. I like it.
