It is a interesting topic, as romance in general is rather a human kind of concept. Yinglets tend to be rather more direct. Patriarch Chakki and Pekkit’s friendship would be a more interesting topic is more interesting to us, as for Human romance, a large part of a romance novel is building up to them consummating the relationship. For yinglets, them smashing is so, so much a part of yinglet social norms, that it would be a mystery that if they liked each other, they didn’t by the end of the first chapter. Its how we form social bonds with eachother. Now if you wanted something that might draw the attention of a Yinglet reader, try “The Island of the Clams” where Yinglets get shipwrecked on a Marshy Island where there are a lifetime’s supply of clams. Now, dat would be a fun time to be had!
*runs in* Did I hears somezhings bouts a map to Clammy Island? *blink blinks*
Well slivers me poopsdeckz an calls me Inzamorningz…
If’n ya don’ts wanna gets za Gray Circle… onna page torn froms za Lady Pekkit’s books (oh zhat’sa BIG EEEEEs)… ye bests be flyings za Happy Lopin and settings towels fors za clamz!
(Yesyes… I makes for a very bads pi-ying-rats-guy.) ;p
On de wearing of the hat. Dat particular hat design is traditional, moreso than de human inspired one worn by Lopin. It harkens back to de invention of “Hat” which simply was modifying a skull roughly to cover one’s own head. However, not all Yinglets can wear de traditional look, as placing someding on de head that touches one’s eyewhiskers constantly can truly be a nuisance. Like the feeling one gets if someding crawls in one’s ear kind of annoying. Happy Holidays and such things, as the solstace is upon us. Many happy Clams to you and yours!
De Traditional hat also cuts down on Peripheral vision too, so in addition to being annoying to de eye whiskers, you can’t see what’s above you. And seeing EVERYONE is taller than Yinglets are, the human style hats are more popular in areas where human and Yinglets live near each other. What Baxxids think of Yinglet fashion apparel is unknown at this time, but seeing how Baxxid headscarves and Yinglet’s traditional hats compare, there is room to believe de Baxxid might have taken cues from us.
Oh yeah, that’s definitely one of the better examples; you can also compare the Patriarchs to their first appearance just a few pages after that one, too!
Patriarch Chakki has an itty-poof. Is nowherez as nice an prettys an beautifullz as Za Matriarch’s… or Lady Vesaria’s… or Lady Lippie’s… or za Diplomat Sir-Ma’am Lady Kass’… or Lady Zal *GASPS!*
I almost says zhat names out louds. She pounces verys hards… O_o
YesYes! I likes big tail-poofs an I can nots liez… ;p
I just hope that hat’s not make from book material.
Naw, she’s had that one for a while now!
Hmm, books and humping…am I the only one who wants to see the yinglet version of a romance novel cover?

It would be every bit as shameless and tacky as you’d expect.

Yeah, headwear is serious business! Lots to consider.

I can see an advantage to not seeing what’s above you: It’d make a good sunshield.
You can really see Valsalia’s art evolution in this current ‘Pekkit’s new books’ arc. Compare the yinglet ladies on page 17 with their new iterations.
Oh yeah, that’s definitely one of the better examples; you can also compare the Patriarchs to their first appearance just a few pages after that one, too!
Umm, doesn’t that tail tuft mean Chakki is female?
Then why is Pekkit calling her a patriarch since a patriarch is male!?
Some of the more femmy males tend to have a little bit of fur on their tails!
And Chakki is *super femmy.*
Ohh now that makes sense!
This is the comment I came to see (or make had it not been said already).

> It is good to have the kind of friend who paints your hat for you.
But it’s great to have the kind of friend who tells people to hump you lots.
Every good friendship is a two-way relationship!
Oh sooo fancy hat scribblies… but does za Lopin knows?
And Lady Pekkit iz ‘movings ons ups’ to za wholez new fancies hat levels… Dinosplodies! *wavings arms in za air*
Buts I still wonderz how Patriarch Chakki knows sooo much bouts farmings stuffs… O_o
Man, Chakki knows how to get his hands on the fastest drying of paints.
You probably don’t want to know what it’s made from, though.
