Not zhat wearing a uniform may make Yannit easier to draw for the boss or anything. She’s cute as she is, but I’d like to see her more, and have Raptie and Oniontrain have it easier too! Zhough as far as uniforms, I know Kass’s is somewhat feminine, but would Lopin choose a more masculine cut, to show he respects Kass, or go full “Ran”, Or somezhig like his normal blue, but in Ivenmozh colors?
Male and female Ivenmoths both wear the same cut of coat as far as I can see. Except for the gold trimmings and the accommodations made for a tail, Kass’ coat is identical to the ones the humans wear. Kass and Isher just don’t wear the brown undergarments the humans do. If Lopin wore his normal clothes but in Ivenmoth colours, that’s not exactly a “uniform”.

Zhough it is also a question as what civilian garb would Kass wear when not on duty? Zo far, we have seen her in rags, and in traditional garb when she was introduced to the Patriarchs. Kassen had his own clothes, and the Ivenmoth seamstresses love Lopin, but Kass only wears Ivenmoth Red despite possibly having a officer’s paycheck now.

Concussive brain damage from facepalming might be avoidable for long-snooted Kass, but becoming the matriarch of a real yinglet enclave, even in an urban, cosmopolitan setting, would probably snap her fragile grip on sanity. A matriarch should remain both intelligent and sane, so that’s not going to work. Kass does have leadership potential, but she’s going to have to invent a new kind of matriarchy that’s completely unheard of in yinglet society, and do it without offending Narklet. Good luck!
