Every employer: full-time, part-time, or contractual, has its quirks that you gotta pick up on.
Also, apologies for the late posting this month- Raptie, my colorist, lives close to the part of the US that’s currently on fire, and while thankfully she hasn’t had to evacuate, she’s been in one of the most extreme Bad Air Quality zones throughout it all, and got rather sick.
With some time to recover and the application of some good air filtration though, she’s better now. This has resulted in me building up a decent buffer of inked pages, however! So we’ll see how that goes.
Ran is very good at sneaking up on people. I like it.
wouldn’t be surprised if one or two of the sneaking-up-ons had a dagger involved.
MORE FEMBOYS FOR THE FEMBOY THRONE!!!
Hey sometimes ya gotta be just a lil’ FANCY
Humans trying to out Scav the Scavs. It’d be easier to hire the Yinglet Enclave to share info on what’s found, but we do know who the Patriarch of Scavenging is at the Valsalian Encalave is, don’t we?
Nobody ever hears me walk up, either. I feel ya, Ran.
Also must admit some curiosity about the scar on yon scrabbler’s left hand. Will it be important later? Was it already important in an earlier strip? Did it really clear up/heal itself/vanish by panel 6? Only Val knows for sure…
Ran appears to be missing a leg in the last frame of this comic.
Also, the shadows on the floor don’t quite match up with the shadows on their backs (unless there’s a additional light source I’m not seeing).
No, being backlit, and casting shadows directly beneath is less realistic than Zhat Zhing, unfortunately. But I’m just glad that Valsalia isn’t in the hospital or something. But looking at the direction of the light in each frame is kinda funny.
Yeah; because of the weird circumstances, Raptie and I were working on parts of this page separately and at different times, so there were a couple quirks like that in the details : P
“Behold… CORN!”
Iz times to plays bell ze Ran… yes yes?
At least he’s not dressed like a bat.
