Pekkit has a habit of learning a new word and becoming enamored with it, and using it as often as she can for a while.

Oh, how delightful! I love the idea of giving more screen time and character development to the other girls from the enclave! Amusing how Pekkit just goes “Pek” like its an onomatopoeia, heh. And she seems l so excited, I can’t wait to get to know her more and experience shenanigans with her. <3
You know it might be funny to see one of these yinglets try to flirt with Kaz’s friend. Considering the fact this human is considered the Diplomat’s brother has already made him very popular with the settlement.
I also didn’t expect Pikket to be that energetic about books.
Pekkit says that Kass and Elim traveling together is something out of a story book and she is depicted reading elsewhere. She’s probably the one recognizing Kass’s quote after getting dolled up.
Then there’s Feeena wishing her to have learned children.
All the clues are there suggesting she’s the book worm and this is why I love OOP. Setup and payoff.
Oh YesYes! Lady Pekkit is entirelies abouts za books. Sooo entirelies… *nod nods*
And I agrees zhat za books is entirelies not for eatings. Zhey is ickies like breads… excepts entirelies more dusty.
Alsos… Za Matriarch is sooo pretty and smarts and… colorz coordinatings… and I entirelies not sayings zhat to keeps outta troubles… *blink blinks*
Huh, so Vizlet’s eyelids are green due to some kind of makeup. I always just assumed that they were naturally green, which sounds kinda ridiculous but we’re talking about Yinglets here.
no you are mistaken, it is not pekkit who has the makeup, it is- …aw fek
*Senses a new story arc for Kass and the Yinglets* For some reason I could not get my 3 hours sleep without checking in here. Now I can be happy and well rested too. And nice peripheral vision for Vizlet seeing someone almost all the way behind her. Lastly, Pekkit looks so very much male. If she had her tail poof cut down, she could easily pass for just another yinglet, and it would surprise me if this is not something she has not tried so to sneak into ValSalia.
You would think that Vizlet’s hair and hood would’ve obstructed whatever peripheral vision she might’ve had in that direction.
I figure it’s likely she’s learned to recognize her charges’ gaits, or other noises they make. Probably works well for her, in her position, to never appear surprised.
Quite likely; or she saw her in her glasses when she put them on – in theory, they shouldn’t be that reflective, but we can see some specular reflection, and who knows how good glass is there? – or else she’s got a mirror on her dressing table (that’s out of sight from our perspective) to help her put her eye-shadow on.
We have likely seen this room 3 different times now. in oop 16, 109, and in 169. All I can say is it gets remodeled…a lot. But then its Yinglet Architecture, so no telling if we are not seeing the building after being destroyed on a regular basis. But in each, no Mirrors that I can see, which would have Kass in Knots in oop 16 if there were. AzureRaptor above might have it that Vizlet really is such a nerd that she recognizes her Girls sound as they walk. She is more than a little paranoid about Narklet, and Yinglet Ears are very good at picking up subtle sounds when pointed the right way.
Vizlet has such a happy in the last pannel. 🙂
I think this page is continuing the events of oop 109-111, where Vislet needs to talk to Kass and the Trademaster in ValSalia about the fallout from Elim’s stabbing. Its a race between patriarch Narklet’s effort to cover up Zhat Zhing (Daat Diing in plains yinglet?) and Vislet wanting to Find Brakka. The safest place for him will be as prisoner of the Trademaster, and also giving Kassen another chance to choke the life out of him, and maybe ask a few more interesting questions. It’d be nice for Vislet to leave Pekkit with Kass to teach Kass more about being a Yinglet, as visits to the Enclave might be dangerous still. Pekkit being a bookworm, would love to stay a period at ValSalia, and Kass needs more than that fancy boi around for Yinglet company. It’d also be a move to get as many females out of the clutches of Narklet in case of a civil war, so a good strategic move too.
slowly getting mentally zatzhinged; i blame willl
noticed vizlet is very pretties, za pinkish/orangeish nose is like… a rat
hunting for za dreaded ‘th’ phoneme in my reply, zhinking about ‘sh’ and focusing on my snoot
wait, am i a victim of Internet Sheogorazh!?
