At this point i suppose they could learn to sit in the corner look pretty and bat their eyelashes at all the handsome boys.

Kass got Elim the best treatment possible when he got shivved. He’s still protecting his best bud even if he is a “mere” scav now. Different kind of protection and support but, all things considered, maybe better than anything he could have done before he changed.

Things have gotten bad and Kass just got yet another insult to the injury.
The *one* time Kass *wanted* to flail about…

Did that heavy ass studded ball roll onto Kass’s ear? How is (s)he going to get up?
I dunno.
But taking a closer look at the business end of that flail and all I can think is, “There’s got to be an easier way to get your ear pierced.”
I think I know what he’s doing I think Kass is trying to get into a fighting form. He might have to try a different weapon he’s been trained in. Maybe a lighter flail but maybe looking for a weapon type more suitable to his new body type I know Yinglets normally use knives or spears but what if he tried for a weapon that could move about like that flail their are a few weapons similar I know of that could suit that kind of small agile body.
One could be the whip sword that’s a very hard weapon to use and very very light. but very hard to control with a human body. It’s a real sword. Another is something more like…well it’s hard to describe it’s known as the most deadly throwing knife in the would. but it’s also very good at hand to hand combat it looks very very strange but it’s terrifyingly deadly on the battle field.
Once the king saw it used he ordered all making of it stopped and all info of it destroyed (didn’t fully work but no one made any more) due to how terrified of what would happen if his enemies stole how to make that weapon.
Another could be to modify the flail to be lighter I suppose and make the metal it’s connected two sharper and Kass to wear special leather bracers to prevent injuries using it.
