And we now know why Kass is the diplomat here.
Because sometimes the proper response is “Diplomacy be hanged, lady, that’s revolting.”
(Seriously, it would be rather out of character for Kass to react any other way.)
A Comic artist that I knew once said:
“The art of Diplomacy is saying “Nice Doggy” until you can find a bigger stick(club)”
Thanks Mel
I can’t blame Kass for that reaction
I wonder though how often that happens.
My guess would be it’s actually fairly rare. Away from human cities, exiled yinglets probably die in rather short order, and the females would be rather unlikely to venture out of the enclave anyway. It could happen near a human city, but I think the rare times females would go into those they’d have an impressive-enough security detail to scare off any exiles trying anything. Undoubtedly it is something that does still happen from time-to-time, however.
Also, remember zhat dere is a rogue Feemale out zhere, and possibly an order to eliminate any Ying eggs made outside de oversight of an approved matriarch. Vislet is still within de Yinglet Council’s system, at least for de moment.
Ohhh, Matriarch, it would take a VERY special yinglet to make THAT happen.
specifically Poak
That depends how big a bucket of clams Lupin can carry.
My bets are on Lupin, given the case.
Eggs plural? We know that Yinglet eggs develop and grow in size outside the female’s body but, given how big they are at maturity I sort of expected they “laid” only one fertilised egg at a time.
Bozh are true! When de mommy and dady ying love eachozher very much…eh who am I kidding, all dey have to be is minimally horny, ya know? But when de deed is done, de Feemale has not even ovulated yet! She keeps all dem lovings in a spermataphore pouch, and de different fazhers DNA gets all scrambled up before she starts to ovulate, and zo a clutch of eggs are laid one at a time, ya? But dey can be all from a single romantic/horny encounter, or several!
But if you want de boss’s take on it, here ya go!https://www.valsalia.com/comic/the-val-salian-regional-field-guide/the-val-salian-regional-field-guide-entry-7-yinglets-revealed-part-12/
To be fair, Brakka was headed for that. His attempted rape is one of the reasons I hate him so much. Some things I just cannot forget or forgive.
Exactly. And half of his evil gang also stated out loud that was their goal.
I remember that attempt so vividly that I had to go back to check that nothing really happened. Kass would definitely be in denial, especially if Yinglet sex is less intrusive than human sex… but I can’t see anything in the panels, so Kass would be confirmed. The only rapey thing was the plan+intention.
I mean, groping Kass’ chest and tail was pretty rapey (I’m pretty certain they’d count as sexual assault in a modern jurisdiction), it’s just that the exiles never got a chance to go further than that.
This, thank the gods. Elim came along quick enough.
That went about as well as can be expected. XD Although I’m still waiting for Vizlet to ask Kass about going on the breeding schedule. Looks like it’s going to be a while.
Vislet is smart enough to plan that /silently./
Given Kass’s unique circumstances, breeding would be a wildcard. There’s no telling what lies in her genetics, or if she is even fertile.
Vizlet! How can you even suggest such a thing?! I must remain seaworthy!
Ha! That was definitely not the question I expected Vizlet to ask! I hope for both their sakes that Vizlet chooses her next words carefully. If those “thank goodness” prayer hands turn into “steepled” hands of planning a breeding schedule for Kass, she’d better have good reflexes, because Kass knows how to choke-a-bitch, as proven by the encounter with Brakka. I guess we’ll have to wait to see if Vizlet has learned to pace herself with Kass’s “education.”
Vislet’s question is not as odd as it would seem, seeing her Patriarch just came back looking and smelling like he got lucky, and dere is a notable lack of Yinglets in de area to be horny wizh. If Kass was being sexually active, Beizel would likely not be de first.
Besides wondering if Beizel just put a clutch in Kass, dere is a in-house male whom Kass has had plenty of interaction wizh. Wizh any ozher yinglet, it would be assumed zhat when a male and feemale are sharing clams and sleeping under de same roof, eggs would be de likely outcome.
So yeah, it was always less likely zhat Kass has found a male in de city, and more like she was testing de waters to see who Beizel just plowed, seeing Vislet and he are quite close. Zhat and perhaps she has a request for Kass to do somezhing about de outcasts dat she cannot, and dey running loose and unsupervised allows Narket free reign to manipulate zhem.
heh its been a hot minute since we’ve had an Update with kass
I missed him
Since Vizlet brought it up, are yinglet females always fertile or do they have less frequent cycles that they can safely “have fun” between? Through either body control or herbs/drugs, can they control fertility? Do the girls share “fun time” together or is that a boys-only thing?
