I mean, it is hard for any of us to stay serious and focused on stuff, but I’m going to say zhat it was Kass’s human side showing. Dude kidnapped Kass, and shanked Elim, who still has not gotten better yet. Keep in mind Kass does go and visit, and sees the result of zhat injury too often.

Hmm, Kass has not had zhe oppurtunity for getting true revenge. And Kass doesn’t even yet know zhat de true person in need of smiting hasn’t been introduced in zhe story yet. We have Brakka, working for zhat asshat Patriarch Narklet, but Narklet is working for someone too.
We don’t know what zhat person, and zhe yinglet council as a whole want, minus zhat dey are totally against moving forward technologically and cultrually as a species. We do know zhat Matriarch Vislet is working within the system to try and change it, but IMHO it is a matter of time until de ValSalian Yinglets split away from de Yinglet council.
Kass’s revenge from being turned into a Feemale, is de same as Vislet’s in being forced into being a Matriarch, and watching her kids be forced into de system where dey don’t have a bright future.
