lol’d at the last page. Really enjoying this series so far. Also, seeing “HumanKass’s” hair earning a special entry in the bugfriend’s diary made me smile.
Actually showing a non-human’s thought process has always been an interesting idea to me ever since TheWeaver did it, did that give you the idea? You pulled it off nicely here.
Some of her feelings seem inspired by code too; was it a hobby?
I don’t think we’re going to have to worry about Yannit going insane. She appears to have replaced her Indrel hive with a human one. The fifth diagram shows where Yannit perceives her admission into the Ivenmoth livepack (hive), which is played out on page 5, where she was actually ‘invited’ to Ivenmoth by Kassen. In the previous page, Yannit makes a big deal out of having everyone in Isher’s place (smallhive) for a ‘Sleepover.’ The fifteenth diagram shows how much and why this is important; it’s an Indrel bonding ritual pulling her closer to her human livepack. The second to last panel shows who Yannit considers to be part of her livepack. The last panel is just icing on the cake.
OK…who else heard the Predator sound effects when you see how Yannit sees in infrared?
I wonder if her bigger eyes see the world normally with the other eyes seeing in infared. Maybe she sees exclusively in IR.
I won’t lie, i think i’m in love with her. She’s adorable!
No, Yannit. You are the one who is cute.
So cute!
Glad to see that Yannit is just as confused about the transformation as Kass is.

If Love-of-Yannit hasn’t already been achieved by HumanAudience(All), then *this* would be that moment!
